Join us for our first Member Morning of 2025 as we celebrate Earth Day at the Gardens. Members and their guests are invited to wake up with WBG by enjoying an early morning stroll through the Gardens with a complimentary cup of hot coffee or tea. Stay for an educational talk with Christopher Ross, President of Apis Rescue, for an insightful Earth Day presentation on the vital role of honey bee conservation and sustainable beekeeping.

8:30am - 10:30am

*Program will begin at 9:30am in the Graeser Family Education Center

*Members are encouraged to bring your own coffee cup in an effort to reduce waste

Join the Waterfront Botanical Gardens as we celebrate Earth Day 2025 to learn about Apis Rescue with Christopher Ross, President, Researcher, and Director of Apis Rescue. Christopher will discuss Apis Rescue's research, and initiatives to promote sustainable beekeeping, education, and how that relates to other pollinators.

Complimentary coffee and tea will be provided.

Tailored for our community teachers, this program will teach techniques to reduce stress, enhance focus, and foster a mindful presence—tools that will support your own, personal well-being. All skill levels are welcome. Please bring a mat and a water bottle. 

Botanical Infused Soap Making Demo

Participants will be introduced to the history and process of soap making and safety practices. Using the cold-process technique, students will witness from beginning to end how cold-process soap is mixed and made. After six weeks, students can come pick up their bar of soap made with herbs from the botanical gardens.
